An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] English Movie Still (Learn More) The Man Who Knew Too Much, the 1934 (released in the U.S. in 1935) Alfred Hitchcock English family relationship spy espionage kidnapping crime thriller (about an English couple vacationing in Switzerland with their teen daughter, and the husband finds out about a spy plot, and the spies kidnap his daughter to keep him from telling what he knows) starring Leslie Banks, Edna Best, Peter Lorre, Frank Vosper, Hugh Wakefield, Nova Pilbeam, and Cicely Oates. Alfred Hitchcock remade this movie in 1956 starring James Stewart and Doris Day (and kept the plot pretty much the same, but changed the daughter to a son)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still, which is a "country of origin" still for this English movie, is extremely rare. ANY movie paper from this 1934 movie is super rare, likely because Alfred Hitchcock remade this movie in 1956, and this movie was almost never shown after that. Also, note that we don't know what is going on in this scene, but it seems to clearly be a candid image judging by the men standing in the background. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. There is a faint partial vertical crease 2 1/2" from the left of the still, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. Otherwise, the still is in pretty nice condition!
