An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Spanish Movie Poster (measures 29" x 38 3/4" [74 x 98 cm]) (Learn More) Note that this is a Spanish "stock" poster created by MGM for use for all entries of their "Tom & Jerry" series in the 1950s and 1960s. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank rectangle at the bottom. They would be sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, and they could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
