Zanuck; about the son of a Southern gentleman who is killed during a fox hunt, and his mother forbids him from having anything to do with horses, but of course, he gets romantically involved with the daughter of his father's former horse trainer, and he buys a horse and enters it in the Maryland Hunt, a steeplechase race) starring Walter Brennan, Fay Bainter, Brenda Joyce, John Payne, Charles Ruggles, Hattie McDaniel, and Marjorie Weaver. Note that 20th Century Fox had made "Kentucky" in 1938, and it was a big success, so they followed it with this extremely similar movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
