He is best known as the voice of Amos from radio's "Amos n' Andy". Some of his roles include: TV's "Calvin and the Colonel", The Lion Tamer, and The Big Broadcast of 1936. He passed away in 1982 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: Note that this letter has been personally autographed (signed) by Freeman F. Gosden! Note that this is from a collection we were consigned that all came from a man named Ernest Hack, who wrote to celebrities during the 1930s and 1940s. Most of them are entirely handwritten by the celebrities, and while our consignor does not have a certificate of authenticity, we feel certain they are all authentic.
