An Autographed Color 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Michael Nesmith was a singer, actor, and composer from the 1960s to the present. He was a member of The Monkees, appearing both in the TV show as well as their movie, Head. He was the only real musician in the group, both a performer and a writer (he wrote "Different Drum", which was a giant hit for Linda Ronstadt). His mother was a legal secretary who invented Liquid Paper, and she amassed a large fortune, which Michael inherited half of, which caused him to retire, but he came out of retirement for some appearances with his fellow members. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 78. Two other members of the Monkees, Davy Jones and Peter Tork, have also passed away, but Micky Dolenz is still alive. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Michael Nesmith! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
