An Original Vintage Linenbacked Wall Calendar Poster (measures 18 1/4" x 27 1/4") (Learn More) The Rocketeer (released in Australia as "The Adventures of the Rocketeer"), the 1991 Joe Johnston Walt Disney comic book superhero family science fiction (sci-fi) fantasy adventure thriller ("An ordinary man forced to become an extraordinary hero."; "Based upon the comic book series 'The Rocketeer' created by Dave Stevens"; obviously loosely based on the 1949 serial character from "King of the Rocketmen") starring Bill Campbell (in the title role as Cliff/The Rocketeer), Alan Arkin, Jennifer Connelly, Paul Sorvino, Timothy Dalton, and Ed Lauter NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: John Mattos Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and there was a slightly diagonal crease across the middle as well. It had some creases and scuffs scattered throughout. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and a talented restorer could touch them up without re-backing the poster).
