An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Today We Live, the 1933 Howard Hawks & Richard Rosson World War I (WWI) romantic love triangle melodrama ("Can any woman be faithful in the heart of one man and in the arms of another?"; "Story and dialogue by William Faulkner"; based on the story 'Turn About' by William Faulkner, and Faulkner added some dialogue to the screenplay as well; about an English girl in World War I who has an English sailor boyfriend, but then she meets an American pilot stationed in England and falls madly in love with him, but then he is reported killed in a combat mission and she returns to her Navy boyfriend, but then the flyer turns out to have survived) starring Joan Crawford, Gary Cooper, Robert Young, Franchot Tone, Roscoe Karns, and Louise Closser Hale NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this title card, and only one in the last 17 years, and that one sold for $580, but that one was in far better condition! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. There are paint stains in parts of all borders, more so in the bottom border. Some of the paint stains from the left border extend into the left of Cooper's face, and there are tiny dot stains and smudges in both stars' faces, and some stains and smudges scattered throughout the rest of the card. There is a circular punch hole in the middle of the right blank border. There are two pieces of tape on the back of the center of two borders, but they were not put there for any restoration purpose. Obviously, this card can be restored, but bear in mind its many condition defects and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
