Somerset Maugham") starring Rita Hayworth (in the title role as Sadie Thompson), Jose Ferrer, Aldo Ray, Russell Collins, Diosa Costello, Charles Bronson (in his second credited movie role!), and Henry Slate. Note that there was an silent version of this movie in 1928 under the title "Sadie Thompson", starring Gloria Swanson and Lionel Barrymore, and a sound version of this movie, under the title "Rain" in 1932, starring Joan Crawford, and Walter Huston! Also note that this movie was filmed in Hawaii on Kauhi Hanelei Pier, Lamahai Beach, Coco Palms, Kalapaks, and the former Charles Rice home. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Grinsson Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tiny tears, and tiny bits of paper loss in parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that, at some time after it was backed, the poster was roughly handled, and there are now creases down the left and right of the poster, both in the excess linen and slightly in the blue borders down the left and right of the poster.
