An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Maureen O'Hara was an Irish actress from the 1930s to the 2000s. Her first major success was in 1939's The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and she was a major star of the 1940s (known for her long association with John Ford and John Wayne), and she aged wonderfully, being able to play the virginal sister in The Quiet Man in 1952! In 1948 she opened a store in Los Angeles called "Maureen O'Hara Seasonal Clothes", where she used her celebrity to help her gain sales, but she continued acting into the 1960s, and retired in 1971. She was lured out of retirement for a wonderful performance in Only the Lonely in 1991, but she then returned to her retirement. Some of her other movies include: How Green Was My Valley, Rio Grande, Miracle on 34th Street, Parent Trap, and Jamaica Inn. She passed away in 2015 at the age of 95. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Maureen O'Hara! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp one of the bottom corners. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
