Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this "drive-in" style one-sheet, and that was 12 years ago! It is very unusual, because the poster itself has taglines in the lower center that reference specifically seeing this movie in your car (see below). Note that there is a different style of one-sheet for this movie that is full color. This style is red and black, and it was clearly printed for drive-in showings of the movie, because it has the great tagline "The entire family should see this picture in the privacy of their automobile!" (we don't even want to think about what kind of mother and father would take their children to see this movie!). What seems amazing is that they apparently still had the lecture from the "Eminent Hygiene Commentator" (we wonder if he talked to the people over the loudspeakers outside their cars?)! Also note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41 1/2" [71 x 105 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds, with pinholes in the corners. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
