An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (25 3/4" x 40") (Learn More) Bessie Barriscale was an actress from 1913 to the 1930s. She was a very popular leading lady throughout the 1910s, but at the end of the decade, she married director/actor Howard Hickman and they had a baby, and she made few movies after that, although she made many stage appearances. When her husband and she were first married, they took a world tour, and brought a cameraman with them, to film their adventures! She passed away in 1965 at the age of 80. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was well restored, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good.
