(literally translates to "Do You Know Urban?"), the 1971 Ingrid Reschke East German relationship melodrama starring Berndt Renne, Jenny Grollmann, Harald Wandel, Irma Munch, and Manfred Karge. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that silkscreen (also known as screen printing) is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a poster. Only one color is printed at a time, so several screens must be used to produce a multicolored design, and it is a laborious technique because it is traditionally all done by hand. Because of the rich thickness of the layer of color on the paper and the resulting depth and brilliance achieved through silkscreen printing, this technique was preferred by many artists throughout many cultures and periods. Note finally that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has tears of varying lengths around the edges that have been repaired with tape from the back that slightly bleeds through to the front.
