Kansas City Princess, the 1934 William Keighley ocean cruise crime romantic comedy sequel ("Now the Havana Widows are Gold-digging in Paris..."; one of eight movies Blondell and Farrell made together; in this one, Blondell is a manicurist who is on the run with her best friend Farrell because they lost a diamond ring that her gangster boyfriend gave to her) starring Joan Blondell, Glenda Farrell, Robert Armstrong, Hugh Herbert, Osgood Perkins, Hobart Cavanaugh, Gordon Westcott, and T. Roy Barnes. Note that Joan Blondell and Glenda Farrell appeared together in "Havana Widows" in 1933, where they played a pair of good-hearted showgirls who get in trouble. They re-teamed for five more movies in 1934 and 1935 (playing different characters, but in the same sorts of situations), all of which were quite popular at the box office!
