An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked German "A1" Movie Poster (measures 23" x 33" [58 x 84 cm]) (Learn More)

Cattle King (also released as "Guns of Wyoming"), the 1963 Tay Garnett cowboy western ("This is the code of the Cattle King!"; "'Fight for your land like a giant!... Fight for your woman like man!...'"; "Land-Robbers! Hired Killers! The whole Wyoming territory wasn't big enough to hold those gunslingers and the 'Cattle King' / 'Guns of Wyoming'"; "Written by Thomas Thompson") starring Robert Taylor, Robert Loggia, Joan Caulfield, Robert Middleton, and Larry Gates. Note that it is possible that the alternate title "Guns of Wyoming" was only used outside the U.S. in other English-speaking countries, but there are "regular" looking lobby cards and posters with the alternate title, so we think it is more likely that it was simply released under both titles. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info:

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the foldlines. It had pinholes in the corners. It had some circular areas of paper loss in the middle right solid black area where a snipe was surely attached. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
