4 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Stills (Learn More)

The Joint is Jumpin', the 1949 Josh Binney all-black African American musical ("An All American feature presentation"; "A fast-moving extravaganza studded with all-star colored cast") starring "The greatest cast of sepia stars ever assembled" (also billed as "With an All-Colored Star-Studded Cast including:") John Mason (billed here as "John 'Spider Bruce' Mason"), Una Mae Carlisle, Bob Howard, Hadda Brooks, Phil Moore Four, Olivette Miller, Charles Ray, Slick & Slack (a black musical tap dance team that played the spoons and performed in this movie, and also in "It Happened in Harlem" from the same year; we were unable to find out anything more about them, including their real names), John Oscar, Frog Edwards, All American Girl Band, The Jubilaires, Eddie South, Gertrude Saunders, Rozelle Gayle, George Lawson & Orchestra, Mildred Kirk, Barbara Browning, George Lawson & his Band, "and a brilliant all colored cast of stars" (on the one-sheet it says "and many more noted stars!")

Condition: good. Some of the stills have faint stains and creases scattered throughout, and a couple have surface paper loss in the bottom credits area.
