The Shell Poster Book, the 1993 illustrated book featuring the history of advertising posters for Shell gasoline and petroleum products from 1920 to 1952, featuring several full-page color images. Shell Oil Company began as a merger of two oil companies in 1903, and in 1907, they joined the "Royal Dutch Shell Group". It remains part of this Netherlands company today, with 22,000 employees in the U.S. alone.
