Also included is a herald that has 4 pages (Learn More) The Witching Hour, the 1934 Henry Hathaway supernatural ESP clairvoyant gambling crime melodrama (a wild story of a gambler who wins thanks to his clairvoyant and hypnotic powers; he "accidentally" hypnotizes a young man, and the young man kills one of his enemies under hypnosis; the gambler feels that, under the circumstances, the young man should be acquitted, and he hires a retired lawyer to help him!) starring Sir Guy Standing, John Halliday, Judith Allen, Tom Brown, William Frawley, and Tom Brown NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald that was included with it, and it is pictured next to the pressbook below. Condition: good. This pressbook is in lesser condition, but it is complete and UNCUT. It has significant defects, such as tears, stains, smudges, and small areas of paper loss around the edges. However, it is important to note that it is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported. But please do not bid on this pressbook unless you can accept the clear defects that it has (if you look at the images we provide, you should get a good sense of what defects this pressbook has).
