An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Women in the Wind, the 1939 John Farrow airplane aviation aviatrix romantic melodrama ("From the novel by Francis Walton"; about a female aviatrix who has a pilot brother who was crippled in a crash, and she needs to get money for his operation, and to do so, she must win a Burbank to Cleveland race, but she can only do it by getting a specially made airplane, and she not only wins the race, but also the love of fellow pilot William Gargan) starring Kay Francis, William Gargan, Victor Jory, Eddie Foy Jr., Max 'Slapsie Maxie' Rosenbloom, Sheila Bromley, and Eve Arden NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. card has darkened slightly (typical of Warner Bros. linen cards of this period), but the card is not at all fragile; pinholes and a few creases around the edges of the card; some faint water stains in the left blank border; other than the above, the card is in pretty nice condition!
