Mr. Muggs Steps Out, the 1943 William Beaudine teen juvenile delinquent slapstick comedy (produced by Sam Katzman and Jack Dietz) starring the East Side Kids (including Leo Gorcey, Huntz Hall, Gabriel Dell, and William 'Billy' Benedict [billed as "Billy Benedict"]), Joan Marsh, Bobby Stone, David Durand, Buddy Gorman, Jimmy Strand, and Bobby Jordan

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "stock" poster which was used for re-releases of their "East Side Kids" series. Theaters would order this poster, which had a large blank area in the bottom center. They would either be sent a series of large paper snipes with the titles of specific entries of the series, and they could paste in each snipe as needed, thus getting many posters for the price of one, or sometimes the studios would overprint posters with specific titles before sending them. Sometimes stock posters are found with blank snipe areas. Most collectors consider them more valuable with a printed snipe attached or with an overprinted title. This particular poster is overprinted with the title "Mr. Muggs Steps Out".

Condition: fair to good. There is significant separated along most of the center horizontal fold and upper crossfold that has been repaired with tape from the back. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid.
