Green & Jack Pickford family relationship silent melodrama ("From Frances Hodgson Burnett's famous story"; about the young son of an English Earl, and his father passes away, and his father's relatives have him come live at his father's grand estate, but they don't allow his mother, whom they disapproved of to live with him, but rather she has to live nearby!) starring Mary Pickford (in a dual role, both in the title role as a boy, AND as the title character's mother, "Dearest"!), Claude Gillingwater, Joseph J. Dowling, James A. Marcus, and Kate Price NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that at this time, United Artists prepared unusual pressbooks that were different from those of the other studios. Each measured approximately 11" x 13 1/2" when folded. They were created folded, with a "cover" on one page, but then you open them up and they had 13 1/2" x 22" pages inside! They were almost always sent to theaters in printed brown bags that had a striking image from the movie and information about the movie printed in the return address area. WHAT WE ARE OFFERING HERE IS SOLELY THE PRINTED BROWN BAG, AND NOT ANY OF THE REST OF THE PRESSBOOK. Condition: good, NO CUTS. Only the mailing envelope is present (see above). It has some stains scattered throughout, with some small tears around the edges. Learn More about condition grades
