Artist: James Montgomery Condition: very good. The poster had creases, tears, pinholes, smudges, and a few stains around the edges. There were a few pinholes, stains, and smudges throughout the image. I really like the way this poster was restored! The restorer concentrated a lot of energy on touching up the minor defects throughout the image, but did not "splash" on lots of paint, and there is no sensation of heavy restoration at all! The restorer spent less time on the borders, but they would not show if the poster were framed, and they give the poster an "aged" feel, and I don't see why that is bad! You can see signs of the restoration from inches away, but from any distance, the poster looks great, and I would think any collector would be happy to display this poster on their wall!
