An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Stop, Look and Listen, the 1926 Larry Semon silent action adventure comedy starring Larry Semon, Dorothy Dwan, Mary Carr, William Gillespie, Lionel Belmore, Bull Montana, and Oliver Hardy. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Note that this movie was made at the time when Oliver Hardy, who had been a top star in the mid 1910s, had seen his star fall, and was taking supporting roles. Very soon after this movie, he would team up with Stan Laurel, and become a bigger star than ever! Also note that Mary Carr became a major star in the mid 1910s around the age of 40, playing the parts of saintly mothers. She continued to make movies (switching to grandmother roles) through the mid 1930s, and then continued with mostly uncredited parts until the mid 1950s. She passed away in 1973 at the age of 99! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a single still (and NO other movie paper of any kind) from this movie until we received this lobby card, which fortunately shows Oliver Hardy! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine. There are a few faint smudges around the edges and two extremely tiny tears in the left border. Someone wrote a "2" in pencil in the top right corner. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
