A 1978 Re-Release (re-titled "Italian Stallion" for this re-release) Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Party at Kitty and Stud's (released in Australia as "Italian Stallion"), the 1970 Morton Lewis (billed as "Lewis Norton") sexploitation movie starring Sylvester Stallone (in the title role "as Stud", in his first or second film), Henrietta Holm (in the title role "as Kitty"), Jodi Van Prang, Nicholas Warren, and Frank Micelli. Note that after Stallone's success in Rocky, this film was re-edited and re-released with Stallone top billed and prominently pictured on posters, to cash in on his newfound fame! Despite rumors to the contrary, this was a "softcore" sexploitation film, and "hardcore" versions simply include scenes from other films. In 2010, the film's worldwide rights and original 35mm negatives were auctioned on eBay for $412,000 NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this poster before and the last one we auctioned sold for $388! Note that in recent months we started auctioning a wonderful collection of sexploitation one-sheets that includes many extremely rare titles from a single collector. This month there are 133 different ones (all are in separate auctions), and they include a number of posters that we have only auctioned once or twice before. There are also a number with great images or taglines. This is an excellent opportunity to add one or more of these rare one-sheets to your collection, and this consignor only had one of each title, so on the rare ones, it may be quite some time before we offer the same title again! Condition: good to very good. The poster has slightly torn pairs of staple holes in the upper blank corners. The lower edge was folded back at one time and there are a few lighter horizontal creases in the poster. It has some fine surface paper loss along portions of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this time period) and light creases. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the very rare poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
