They fight like men from another world!"; "The girl in the spotlight who showed them the way!"; "Flying where no one ever flew before... the made the incredible come true!"; the remarkable true story of how the English had been "blanket bombing" Germany, and they realized that this did not allow them to hit strategic targets, but then scientist/engineer Barnes Wallis invented a remarkable "bouncing bomb" that could skid along the water until it hit its target, and would then go underwater and explode like a depth charge; but this still required courageous pilots to fly under the radar of German anti-aircraft forces, and then drop their bombs close to the dams they needed to destroy, and while some of the courageous men did not survive, enough did that England destroyed key German dams, which ultimately helped England defeat Germany) starring Richard Todd, Michael Redgrave (as Barnes Wallis), Ursula Jeans, Basil Sydney, Patrick Barr, Ernest Clark, and Derek Farr NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (partially repaired with tape from the back). There is general fold and border wear and some lighter creases scattered in various areas.
