He started with leading roles, but he soon became one of Hollywood's foremost character actors. He was best known for his work in Arsenic and Old Lace, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, Top Hat, Lost Horizon, Holiday, Trouble in Paradise, Pocketful of Miracles, and many others. He had a second career many years later doing voiceovers, including many on TV's "The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle". Horton passed away in 1970 at the age of 84. Important Added Info: Note that this letter has been personally autographed (signed) by Edward Everett Horton (he hand wrote the entire letter on his stationery)!
