Bonnie Scotland, the 1935 James W. Horne British-in-India military screwball crime comedy ("Full length Feature"; about Stan moving to Scotland to inherit the "MacLaurel Estate", but discovering it is worthless, and they are then tricked into enlisting in the British Army in India, where they have many adventures!) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy), James Finlayson, June Lang, and William Janney

Important Added Info: Note that given that this was consigned together with similar ad mock-ups from the 1950s and 1960s, our best guess is that this is from a 1950s English re-release of this Laurel and Hardy movie, but that is solely a guess.

Note that this is one of four similar English ad mock-ups we are currently auctioning (in four separate auctions). Each was created by Elvin Engraving Co. Ltd who designed UK press publications for many of the major studios. Each has elements of art and text glued to a stiff board, with a glassine sheet overlay (see our images).
