An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Swift Shadow, the 1927 Jerome Storm silent German Shepherd K-9 canine police dog crime action cowboy western ("From an original Story by Ethel Hill"; produced by Joseph P. Kennedy) starring Ranger the Dog (in the title role as Swift Shadow), Lorraine Eason, William Bertram, Sam Nelson, Albert J. Smith, and Milburn Morante. Note that Ranger the Dog first appeared in 1926's "Flashing Fangs" and appeared in ten more movies over the next three years! If anyone knows more about Ranger the Dog, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that producer Joseph P. Kennedy was of course the father of Joe, John, Bobby, and Teddy Kennedy, and had a well publicized love affair with Gloria Swanson for many years. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: very good. There is ink staining on the back of the upper right quarter of the card, extending across the edge of the top and right borders, but it has next-to-no effect on the front. There is a small area of surface paper loss in the center of the top blank border, barely extending into the letters of the title. Other than the staining on the back, the card is in really nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
