An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Aggravating Papa (also released as "Aggravatin' Papa"), the 1924 Harold Beaudine silent canine dog German Shepherd comedy short ("Christie Comedies") starring Jimmie Adams, Duane Thompson, George C. Pearce, Budd Fine, and Peter the Great (the German Shepherd dog). Note that Peter the Great appeared in six movies between 1922 and 1926 (the first two were shorts). We don't know why he retired after that. It might have been from getting old, or he might not have been able to adjust to sound movies (perhaps his bark was not as good as his bite). If anyone knows more about Peter the Great, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good.
