Walt Disney Breakfast Announcement, the 1943 Walt Disney public service announcement poster designed for the Food & Nutrition Committee and California War Council featuring an image of Donald Duck ("You can't breakfast like a bird and work like a horse!", "This is a good breakfast: Grapefruit, orange juice, melon or berries. Coffee. Oatmeal or other cereal with milk. Eggs now and then. 2 slices whole wheat or enriched bread and butter."). This was from a series of posters designed to encourage war workers to eat healthier meals so that they would be more productive at work, and no doubt, these posters were displayed at the workplaces.
