United Air Lines New York, the circa 1950s or 1960s airplane airline aviation travel poster encouraging people to use United Airlines when visiting New York City, and featuring Stan Galli artwork of a couple enjoying a hansom cab ride. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this poster shows a great close up artwork image (by Stan Galli) of a couple riding in a horse-drawn carriage in Manhattan in New York City! We feel certain this poster is from the 1950s, but our description says "1950s or 1960s", because we use it to cover United Airlines travel posters from both decades.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had pinholes, tears, and tape stains in the corners, and some scattered in the left and right of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
