An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Gay Defender, the 1927 Gregory La Cava silent Old California Gold Rush romantic adventure melodrama ("Story by Grover Jones"; Dix plays an "aristocratic youth" who turns into a "terrorizing night-riding Robin Hood") starring Richard Dix, Thelma Todd (in an early role), Fred Kohler, Jerry Mandy, and Robert Brower. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this title card, and that was 10 years ago. That card has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. Someone glued a page from a travel magazine to the back of most of the card. There are pinholes in the corners and some faint stains around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition!
