(Learn More) Soupy Sales (born Milton Supman!) was an actor from the 1940s to the 2000s. He is best remembered for his daytime "kids" show, originally called "12 O'Clock Comics", which quickly became "Lunch with Soupy Sales", and later known as "The Soupy Sales Show". It was always controversial because he mixed in slapstick (with wacky puppets) with risque humor aimed at adults, and his shows were frequently canceled by one station and then he would get rehired by another, over a 14 year period. During this time, he released two novelty records, which only happened because Frank Sinatra was a big fan and signed Sales to a recording contract! He was a frequent "panelist" on many game shows, mostly Goodson-Toddman productions like "To Tell the Truth". He passed away in 2009 at the age of 83. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Soupy Sales! Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is a 1961 "The Soupy Sales Show" soundtrack record album. The items could be matted together to create a cool display! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
