An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47" x 62 3/4" [119 x 159 cm]) (Learn More) Nieces Espiegles (literally translates to "Mischievous Nieces"), the 1910s (or perhaps early 1920s) French silent boating romantic comedy starring Ginette Chrysias, and Mlle Gina Camier. Artist: Andre Felix Roberty Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster or ANY other movie paper for this title before! This is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie and it is an extremely rare French poster from before World War II! Virtually no French posters survive from before World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards. Condition: fair to good. There is separation, darkening, tears, and small paper loss on parts of the folds, with some tears and paper loss in the borders, and some small brown stains scattered in parts of the poster.
