An Original 1972 Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Luana la Figlia delle Foresta Vergine (given a limited release in the U.S. in 1972 as "Luana", and a wide release in 1973), the 1968 Roberto Infascelli (billed as "Bob Raymond") German/Italian fantasy jungle savage adventure thriller ("High adventure that rages across the savage jungles of the Dark Continent!"; "On April 15, 1960 a plane crashed in the untamed African jungle. The survivor - a young girl!"; "As savage as the beasts that raised her... the thrill adventure of a lifetime!"; "Tops in action! Tops in adventure! Tops in excitement!"; "Underwater adventure! Man-eating plants! Spine chilling escapes! Forbidden jungle treachery! Attack of the poison darts! Duel against deadly scorpions! River of maddened crocodile hordes!") starring Glenn Saxson, Evi Maradi, Mei Chen (in the title role "as Luana"), Al Thomas, Jac Bushingame, Peitro Tordi, and Raf Baldassarre. Note that this German/Italian movie did not receive a U.S. release when it was first made in 1968. In 1972 it received a limited U.S. release with uninspired poster art (and we do not know that artist). In 1973 it received a much wider U.S. release with entirely different posters of a sexy female Tarzan-like character by noted fantasy/comic book artist Frank Frazetta! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this movie received a limited release in 1972. It was given a wider release in 1973, with an all new poster, with art by Frank Frazetta (the poster from the 1972 release does NOT have Frazetta art). The poster offered here is the one from the 1972 limited release. Condition: good to very good. There is a rating snipe at lower right. There are a few 1 1/2" and smaller tears around the edges that have been repaired with tape from the front and there are pieces of clear tape on the front around the edges of the poster that were not put there for any restoration purpose.
