A Linenbacked 1967 Commercial Poster (made to be sold directly to the public; measures 24 3/4" x 35 3/4" [63 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Peter Max (born Peter Max Finkelstein) is a German-born American illustrator and graphic artist from the 1960s to the present. He is known for his use of psychedelic shapes and color palettes in his artwork and has been featured on stamps, posters, and many books. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 83! Artist: Peter Max Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had some tiny scuff marks scattered in the bottom of the image area and in the background at bottom right, with a very few in the rest of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
