Initially formed as an outgrowth of the Civic Ballet Society of Indianapolis, the theater was founded by George Verdak, where he created more than 100 ballets. The theater initially performed only to Indianapolis Public Schools, but the programs were so successful that they received funding from many programs and agencies. In 1994 the company changed its name to Ballet Internationale, but in 2005 they claimed about $1 million in debt and closed. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded.
