An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4") (Learn More) I Cover the War, the 1937 Arthur Lubin North Africa war journalism newspaper reporter action thriller (about a newsreel cameraman going to North Africa to cover an Arab uprising against the British; based on the story by Bernard McConville) starring John Wayne, Gwen Gaze, Don Barclay, James Bush, Pat Somerset, and Charles Brokaw (as El Kadar, the rebel leader) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: ARE YOU UNFAMILIAR WITH GLASS SLIDES? Many collectors are not familiar with them, because they are incredibly rare, and are rarely offered for sale. The first image is a high quality scan of just the image area of the slide that shows what it looks like with light shining through it (as it was originally seen when displayed). The second image is a photograph of the entire glass slide (including either the cardboard holder or black tape around the edges, depending on the type of glass slide it is). Condition: very good. the glass slide itself is in very good condition; there is some slight surface "dustiness" over much of the image area, but it disappears when you look at the slide through light (and may be easily removable); there is a white circle between the glass in the lower left corner that does not affect the image); the slide does not have a cardboard holder, but rather there is black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of older glass slides Learn More about condition grades
