Strayer romantic love triangle seafaring sailor ocean shipwreck adventure thriller (from the story by George Waggner; the movie has nothing to do with apes, but is instead a weird rip-off of Jack London's "The Sea Wolf", with a brutal sea captain named "Gorilla" Larsen, who picks up shipwreck survivors and mistreats them, just as in London's novel) starring Ralph Ince, Vera Reynolds, Reed Howes, Wheeler Oakman, James Bradbury Jr., and Erin La Brissoniere
