An Unfolded Mexican Travel Poster (measures 27 1/2" x 37 1/2" [70 x 95 cm]) (Learn More)

National Railways of Mexico, the 1950s Mexican train railroad travel poster ("Handy.. Mysterious... Colorful... Exotic... Mexico!") promoting travel on the Mexican National Railways, and featuring art of a hand holding various landscapes over a passenger train. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: fair to good. The poster has darkened substantially and there are several tears of varying lengths around the edges, many of which are repaired with tape from the back and someone backed the right and left edges of the poster with a tape that slightly bleeds through to the front. Certainly a competent restorer could repair the defects described above, but please bear in mind the cost of restoration before placing a bid.
