An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) Jack Lemmon was an actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. Some of his movies include: Save The Tiger (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Apartment (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Some Like It Hot (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Mister Roberts (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Days of Wine & Roses, The Odd Couple, Missing (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), China Syndrome (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and many more! He had an extremely distinguished career, and he was equally talented in dramatic and comedic roles, and he alternated between them throughout his career. Lemmon passed away in 2001 at the age of 76. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jack Lemmon! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase.
