Now it's all magnificently on the screen... romantically... gloriously!"; "Produced by George Jessel"; "Dances Staged by Seymour Felix"; "New Songs - Lyrics by Mack Gordon"; "Music by James Monaco"; filmed in 3-strip Technicolor; very loosely based on the lives of two Hungarian sisters, Jenny and Rosie Dolly, who became famous entertainers in the early 1900s) starring Betty Grable (in the title role as Yansci 'Jenny' Dolly), John Payne, June Haver (in the title role as Roszika 'Rosie' Dolly), S.Z. Sakall, Reginald Gardiner, Frank Latimore, Gene Sheldon, Sig Ruman, and Trudy Marshall. Note that Alice Faye was originally cast as Betty Grable's sister, but Faye wanted to stop doing musicals, and June Haver was cast instead. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Holzer Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. It had a tiny dot of paper loss near the center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Note that the restorer who mounted the poster did not leave any excess linen around the edges of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
