Find It. Treat It. Conquer Tuberculosis, the late 1940s public health charity poster ("Christmas Seals fight Tuberculosis") promoting the purchase of Christmas seals to help combat tuberculosis, and featuring artwork of an infected man in a crowd and the logo for the National Tuberculosis Association. Note that Christmas seals are labels placed on mail during the Christmas season to raise funds and awareness for charitable programs. They were introduced to the United States by Emily Bissell in 1907, after she had read about the 1904 Danish Christmas seal program. By 1908, Bissell's idea grew to a national program administered by the National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis (later known as the National Tuberculosis Association). Today the Christmas seals benefit the American Lung Association and other lung related issues.
