An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm]) (Learn More) Mannequin, the 1938 Frank Borzage romantic love triangle rags-to-riches melodrama ("Drama of a shopgirl and a millionaire!"; "The romance of a shopgirl's millions"; a weird story of a working man and his wife, and when he meets his old friend who has now become rich, he comes up with the wacky idea of divorcing his wife so that she can marry the rich friend, only to then divorce him and come back rich from her divorce) starring Joan Crawford ("I was born with a 'tin' spoon in my mouth ...but I'm going to eat off gold plates before I die! I'm going to get what I want... anyway that I can!"), Spencer Tracy, Alan Curtis, Ralph Morgan, Mary Philips, and Leo Gorcey (one of the original "Dead End Kids", in a rare solo appearance!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this scene card, and that was 20 years ago! Also ote that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 10 3/4" x 13 3/4" [27 x 35 cm]. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card was slightly trimmed around the edges, but only blank white paper was affected. There are some long horizontal tears with tiny surface paper loss in the top right and someone put tape on the back of those. There are four tiny tears in other parts of the borders that were also repaired with tape from the back. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card.
