Note that Mel Blanc is credited in IMDb as the voice of Dumbo, which is interesting, since the elephant has no lines of dialogue! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this 1941 first release promo brochure! Of course, the brochure unfolds to a 19" x 25" poster, which can be displayed on the new owner's wall, and it IS a 1941 Dumbo poster! Also note that this brochure was likely only sent to theater owners and executives, and this specific brochure has been overprinted on the front with the name "Harold Hendee" (IMDb identifies him as an RKO employee in 1931, but we don't know what his position was with the studio in 1941). We also don't know if all examples of the brochure were similarly overprinted, or if this was only done to some, because we have never seen another example of this ultra rare brochure! Condition: good to very good. The top edge appears to have been trimmed, but it may have been created that way to look "artistic" (we have no other example of this to compare it to). There is a 1 1/2" vertical tear in the middle of the left and right of the poster, and some small tears and tiny surface paper loss in the bottom border (see our images).
