Quo Vadis, the 1951 Mervyn LeRoy historical Rome Italy sword-and-sandal romantic adventure epic ("MGM's 'Quo Vadis', Mightiest Technicolor Picture of All Time"; "Based on the Novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a Roman commander serving under Nero who falls in love with a beautiful Christian hostage, and that makes him question his loyalty to Rome) starring Robert Taylor (as Marcus Vinicius), Deborah Kerr (as Lygia), Leo Genn (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Petronius), Peter Ustinov (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Nero), Patricia Laffan (as Poppaea), Buddy Baer (as Ursus), Marina Berti, and Rosalie Crutchley

Condition: good. title card and two scene cards are in very good to fine condition with only minor border defects, other scene cards are in good to very good condition with some slightly discolored from exposure to light; a 5" cut and tear in the lower right of the image background of one scene card (repaired with tape from the back); smudges, minor creases, and scuffs throughout each card (more so around the edges)
