An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked British Quad Movie Poster (measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More)

Gembaku No Ko (released in English-speaking countries as "Children of Hiroshima"), the 1952 Kaneto Shindo Japanese war semi-documentary melodrama (about a teacher and her former students who return to Hiroshima four years after the A-bomb was dropped to see the aftermath of the devastation) starring Nobuko Otowa, Osamu Takizawa, Niwa Saito, Tsuneko Yamanaka, and Shinya Ofuji

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: very good. The poster had paper loss at the crossfolds and creases, scuffs, and surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines, and a few minor border defects. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
