What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It appears it was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking. Likely, after it was backed, but perhaps before, it acquired water staining mostly in the background to the right of the leg, slightly entering the "HI". That staining has caused the poster to be rippled and creased in that area. One could live with this defect or have a restorer touch it up, either with or without re-backing the poster, but bear this significant defect in mind before bidding.
