That's why the call him 'The Kangaroo Kid'"; "Original Story by Anthony Scott Veitch"; about a Texas detective who goes to Australia and poses as a stagecoach driver to help solve a string of robberies; soon after he arrives, he adopts an orphaned baby kangaroo, which gives him his nickname) starring Jock Mahoney (billed as "Jock O'Mahoney"; in the title role as The Kangaroo Kid; in one of his first starring roles, after several years of very minor and uncredited roles), Veda Ann Borg, Guy Doleman, Martha Hyer, and Alan Gifford
