An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 12" x 15"; 20 pages) (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock 3-D (3D; 3-Dimension) romantic love triangle crime murder mystery detective suspense thriller ("...is that you, darling?"; "Written by Frederick Knott who wrote the International Stage Success"; "If a woman answers... hang on for dear life!"; "Is this the man she was waiting for... or the man who was waiting for her?"; "Perfect 3 Dimension in the Hitchcock manner!") starring Ray Milland, Grace Kelly, Robert Cummings (Bob Cummings), John Williams, and Anthony Dawson. Note that, although this movie was filmed in 3-D, none of the original posters mention it at all (there is an explanation in the pressbook that because they know many theaters will not show it in 3-D, "the ads have been designed so that the 3D copy may be eliminated" [and obviously, this is why they did not put 3-D on the posters]). Also note that this pressbook includes a section that mentions that "special 3-D snipes are available" and pictures the three snipes. Condition: good. This pressbook has either ads cut out or missing pages or both. Above we noted exactly how many cut ads or missing pages there are, whether or not they affect the poster page, and any other significant defects the pressbook has. It has been folded in half horizontally, which is typical of almost all larger pressbooks. Oversized pressbooks were usually folded in half so that they could be more easily transported. Note that other than the above defects, the pressbook is in very good condition. But please do not bid on this pressbook unless you can accept that it has ad cuts or missing pages.
