Bracker art of smiling military personnel. Note that the "War Camp Community Service" was one of the many service organizations during World War I that provided food, shelter, and companionship to servicemen on leave (like the YMCA and many others) Artist: Leone M. Bracker Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable group of around 100 guaranteed authentic mostly war posters (around 75 war posters, plus 25 others, including political ones) mostly dating from before 1900 through 1945, with 15 from after that date! These were originally acquired by an archive decades ago, and they have been in storage ever since, until they were recently consigned to us. Many of these are the sorts of posters that you can find reproductions of on the Internet, but finding guaranteed originals like these is incredibly difficult (years can go by before these are offered for sale or at auction). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase any of these more than 100 posters! Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. There are many tears and areas of paper loss around the edges. There is paper loss in the bottom left corner, but it only seems to affect the "UN" of "UNITED" and a tiny bit of the bottom of the "a" of "morale". The poster is fragile and urgently needs linenbacking, but after that is done, it will display well, but bear that expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Learn More about condition grades
